Everyday is another day I have to pretend. <br />I have to put on a smile knowing the nightmare wont end. <br />Everyday is another day I block out the world. <br />Faking a laugh and hanging with the girls. <br />Everyday is another day I have to fake a grin. <br />I have to laugh and act normal but im crying from within. <br />Everday is another day I scream into my pillow. <br />Blocking out your face and pretending I dont know. <br />Everyday is another day you and mom fight. <br />I go to bed praying that maybe things would turn out right. <br />Everday I see you at work with her. <br />And no matter how hard I try I cant block out the world. <br />'Cause everytime I close my eyes I see youre face. <br />You always say youre sorry and that everyone makes mistakes. <br />You always tuck me in and kiss me goodnight. <br />But yet everytime you go I wish for a diffrent life.<br /><br />Silence Dogood<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/another-day-51/
