It caught me by surprise, this feeling I have inside. <br />It wells up and winds around my heart squeezing, <br />I feel so alone, and it hurts, I must lie down and cry. <br />My emotions have risen and the sad side is teasing. <br /> <br />How do I stop the pain that is in my heart, <br />How do I stop the tears that fall across my face. <br />I am alone and there is no one I can confide in, <br />I have fallen and I crawl across the floor in disgrace. <br /> <br />God forgive me, I have been forsaken and lost. <br />I am a failure in love and life, and I so sorry. <br />May you find it in your heart to forgive me? <br />The emotions I am experiencing are oh so scary. <br /> <br />I must cry and let it all out, relieve the pressure of guilt, <br />Relieve the pain in my heart, the sorrow I feel deep inside <br />Slowly, ever so slowly I must become one with myself, <br />I thank you, I Thank you Lord for being my guide. <br /> <br />REB (2012) Damn what's wrong with me, so sad.<br /><br />Rik Bertrand<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/so-so-sad-2/
