There comes a time, in ever persons life, <br />When there is more to it than just doing what is right, <br />There comes a time, when we can't sleep at night, <br />Just because we do not want to close our eyes, <br />Days go on, hour after hour, restless as can be we have no sense of power, <br />The years pass by, month after month, useless is what we feel that it's all enough, <br /> <br />Resting when working, and stressing when at rest, <br />Nothing seems to sooth the pain or make us forget our regrets, <br />But when we stop and think about it for a while, <br />We start to realize, nothing is more important than a smile, <br />Seems to be these days there is nothing we can get, <br />So we hide ourselves with dark temptation and don't fret, <br />But when we stop and think about it for a while, <br />We start to realize, nothing is more important than a smile, <br /> <br />Those last days, they seem to fall apart, <br />Because we all change to make things right, <br />A bitter man would bite his tongue and see the light, <br />Realizing all those burdens are actually lies, <br />Moments pass, minute after minute, we just want to love and know that we've been in it, <br />Hours leave us, second after second, we try to make it look like no god we have reckoned, <br /> <br />Trying while dying, and crying while at death, <br />Everything seems too late for us to change our ways, <br />But when we stop and think about it for a while, <br />We start to realize, nothing is more important than a smile, <br />So try to cover our sadness in presents and sweets, <br />Only to stand up to see ourselves loosing our seats, <br />But when we stop and think about it for a while, <br />We start to realize, nothing is more important than a smile.<br /><br />Aaron Tate<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/nothing-is-more-important-than-a-smile/
