On mothers day 2009 Jade took her final rest, <br />So brave she was to share with us the moments she had left. <br />Though we can no longer see her, her memory still lives on, <br />Her great personality and beautiful smile will be remembered by everyone. <br />Her spirit has always been strong, and strong it will remain, <br />As now it cant be injured by her illness and her pain. <br />So sad she had to leave us, so sad we cannot see, <br />That Jade is finally better, her spirit is now free. <br />Her tired body has rested, her spirit goes on strong, <br />She's up there with the angels, where this angel belongs. <br />Jade opened the eyes of England, she showed us she was brave, <br />And her story, for so many girls, is lives that will be saved. <br />My thoughts are with her family, her boys, her husband, her mum, <br />I hope that they will be ok without their treasured one.<br /><br />lindsey ashton<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/jade-goody/
