out in the cold again, her cold heart will not bend. <br />i give her all the love that i could possibly give <br />just to see if her feelings live. <br /> <br />but, she will continue to fight <br />and rave and holler <br />then i don't even bother. <br /> <br />so many years of marriage <br />and it's going down the drain <br />when you can't speak to each other <br />that's a crying shame. <br /> <br />you try to talk civil, and to correct <br />the problem which has come up. <br />but! the fighting continues <br />so you decide to shut up. <br /> <br />you feel your heart pulling <br />and being yanked out of your chest <br />and then you begin to wonder <br />if this is just a test. <br /> <br />they say that sometimes the LORD <br />can be a joker, he will <br />tease you and laugh with you <br />and stick you with a poker. <br /> <br />but! it is just to see, if your faith <br />in him is strong <br />for that is where faith belongs. <br /> <br />so i close my eyes and think <br />of the faith within, and i begin to wonder <br /> 'did i commit a sin'. <br /> <br />i think of all the pros and cons <br />of the life that i am living <br />and if there is something more <br />that i should be giving. <br /> <br />did i give support when it was needed most? <br />did i turn my back and close a deaf ear <br />or did i show how much i really care. <br /> <br />these are the questions that i have to ask <br />and to try to remember something in my past. <br /> <br />marriage is a sacred vow, made before GOD. <br />and we have to continue to fight <br />no matter how hard.<br /><br />louis rams<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/husbands-faith/
