here i am LORD, a servant in your hand <br />please help me LORD, to make me understand. <br />my heart is crying out to you <br />with all my aches and pains <br />will it continue, will i ever be the same. <br /> <br />i feel your presence all around, and i know <br />that there are angels to be found. <br /> <br />but when i'm feeling lonely <br />and full of despair, will my angels be there <br />to wipe away my fears? <br /> <br />we are all your children, and like a child <br />i have to feel the warmth of your embrace <br />to look into your eyes, and see your smiling face. <br /> <br />HE SAID: i will always love and protect you <br />and never turn you away <br />for you are in my heart, and forever you will stay. <br /> i am the one who gave you life <br />and there's a journey that you must take. <br /> <br />there are hungry children and many lives are at stake. <br />but this is a decision- that in your heart you must make. <br /> <br />there will be dangers, and many mountains <br />that you must climb. <br />spreading the word of the gospel <br />and you have'nt got much time. <br /> <br />people are not only hungry for food to eat <br />or even water to bathe their feet. <br />they are looking for hope. <br />and i have chosen you. <br />will you help me? the choice is up to you. <br /> <br />here i was thinking of myself, and what i was going through. <br />with so much suffering, i knew what i had to do. <br />i gathered myself up, and looked up to the sky, and said: <br /> <br />i don't even have part of your strength <br />but i will surely try, i will spread <br />your word, and that there is no lie. <br /> <br />here i am LORD, a servant in your hand <br />and i will spread your word LORD <br />the only way i can. <br /> <br />your teachings are in my poetry <br />for you have inspired me <br />this is how i could spread your word <br />it's the only way i see. <br /> <br />SO NOW I ASK ALL OF YOU. <br />IF YOU WAS IN MY SHOES <br /> WHAT WOULD YOU DO?<br /><br />louis rams<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/the-servant-3/
