As I step into the darkness <br />I can hear voices <br /> Hear they come one by one <br /> <br />By now I am running <br />from what I do not know <br />I just run in such a quick pace <br />any one who sees me <br />would think I am one of them <br /> Faster they come <br /> <br />As I draw a quick breath <br />of pain <br />the whispers speak again <br />with louder voices <br />they say <br /> <br /> Whispers of the night <br /> here comes such a beauty <br /> in sight <br /> Her wings flutter in <br /> <br />Pride <br /> <br />As I listen the whispers make <br />no clue into <br />which direction to run <br /> they are lost but not giving up <br /> <br />My looks are fragile <br />my shaggy hair looks like a bird <br />has made a home in my hair <br />my normally neat clothing <br />is in tears, close to rages <br />the panic has come out <br />so much <br />that I look like I have woken <br />up from the undead <br /> <br />They have stopped now <br />My pain has faded <br />I kneel on the hard ground <br />know I am safe <br /> <br />I hold on to the rose <br />with my dear life as <br />I pray for God <br />in welcome <br /> They have given up <br /> <br />The rose looks beautiful <br />I now know that <br />is what the voices was <br />whispering about <br /> <br />The gentleness and grace <br />of the rose I hold <br />is why I am alive <br />is why I am knelling <br />is why I pray for my safety <br /> <br />This rose has my mother's <br />spirit.
