As the sun sets. <br />I close my eyes <br />I want to sleep but I can’t <br />For tomorrow always scares me <br />Even if today was good <br />No tears were shed <br />My hand was held <br />My heart was full <br />Still sleep does not come <br />I open my eyes and look at the stars <br />Each one holds a wish <br />I try to count them but I get lost among them <br />They are calming <br />And yet tomorrow still scares me <br />I close my eyes once again <br />I see you there <br />You whisper “I’ll be there tomorrow.
