There's always two sides to all stories- <br />It might be sweet and/or gory <br />It might be fun, but boring too <br />It might be me, it could be you <br />But here are the sides to MY story: <br />I promise it won't be gory... <br /> <br />Glance this way, and you will see <br />A depressed, lowly, and saddened me: <br />Dull and grey, low self-esteem <br />With holes my bleeding heart did teem <br />My haunting eyes, filled with despair <br />They no longer were full of care <br />My homework was always late <br />My calendar-not up to date <br />My number of A's had sadly shrunk <br />Seemed altogether I would flunk. <br />What I wouldn't do to change- <br />My life I'd prefer to exchange; <br /> <br />Or look right up, and you will find <br />This energetic soul of mine: <br />Smiling, happy, ready to learn <br />A little girl who waits her turn <br />Her bright eyes just show it all <br />She always stands up straight and tall <br />She listens to her mom and dad <br />The best manners she always had <br />She dressed tidily every day <br />For her own things she did pay <br />She shared her candy with her friends <br />When Halloween had come to end; <br /> <br />But alas, sadly, she did not last <br />She died the previous year past <br />This little angel withered away <br />And Emo Girl had come to stay...<br /><br />Leslie Ching<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/two-sides-to-everything/
