You may think my school is ordinary, <br />As many others are, <br />But forgive me ‘coz I don’t agree, <br />My school is a star. <br />I’m just a normal 12 year-old, <br />Who is quite shy at first. <br />But in my school you will find out, <br />Friends will quench your thirst. <br /> <br />My school is wizardly, <br />With teachers of every kind, <br />And there always seem to be, <br />A weird happening every time. <br />Sometimes the students are scared, <br />‘Cause there’s a banshee in the class, <br />And the beautiful school garden, <br />Has elves running fast. <br /> <br />It does sound scary, I know, <br />But sometimes it’s amazing, <br />To find fairies flying slow, <br />And griffins in the field. <br />Our talents are soon discovered, <br />We could make the sky thunder, <br />This scares but amazes us, <br />To others it’s a danger. <br />Next year I’ll be leaving this school, <br />To another just beside, <br />I wish it’s like the one I love, <br />It makes me shine so bright. <br /> <br />So long my bewitching palace, <br />And all my sorcerer friends, <br />I will pray for all of you, <br />May we meet again in the end.<br /><br />Mimi Fakhira<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/wizardly-school/
