The stress and pain of every ones life, <br />Causes wounds of painful strife. <br />Give it time is what they say, <br />But it will never go away. <br /> <br />Wounds may lessen as does pain, <br />But when it gets bigger we go insane. <br />We hide it up for no one to see, <br />But the wound is still there, we let it be. <br /> <br />It may seem that no one is there, <br />To be alone is our greatest fear. <br />That aloneness is just a feeling, <br />To believe someone cares is such a healing. <br /> <br />When someone is there to care and love, <br />We push them away, we give them the shove. <br />But all they say is over time, <br />It’ll get better, our lives will shine. <br /> <br />The truth of it all is it’ll never get better, <br />Although the pain gets lesser and lesser. <br />But it will be there day by day, <br />It will never go away.<br /><br />Amy Fifita<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/time-heals-6/
