The music plays along, <br />Gives this moment a feeling, <br />And as I quietly listen to this song, <br />I can feel all my wounds healing, <br />When I feel my burdens become too much, <br />And I see no way out, <br />I’ll listen to music as such, <br />I’ll put it far too loud, <br />But it doesn’t matter how loud or soft, <br />As long as it’s there, <br />I can feel my soul soaring aloft, <br />Warmth spreading everywhere, <br />And as I fly higher and higher, <br />Into the tones and sounds, <br /> I reach what I desire, <br />And lose the sight of the endless grounds, <br />I’ll stay there, where the music has brought me, <br />And return only when the song finally ends, <br />The ceiling of my room is what I then see, <br />But my soul, it still transcends. <br /> <br />A/N: in the honor of music.
