We are the class of two thousand seventeen <br />The class that the world is waiting for <br />We're smarter, brighter than you've ever seen <br />Just wait until we walk through your door. <br /> <br />The things that we learned here at our school <br />Are way beyond our wildest dreams, <br />And everything you've taught us, we will use <br />To do the dirty work, and still stay clean. <br /> <br />Our teachers all tell us, 'Be all you can be.' <br />Your future is out there if you take it <br />If only the future we could all see <br />To know if we all will make it. <br /> <br />Some will be doctors and maybe a lawyer <br />And some will get rich on the internet <br />Some may be adventurous, like young Tom Sawyer <br />Or maybe a super hero, better yet. <br /> <br />But of all the things we will do in life <br />We know how to play by the rules <br />Cause we learned from the best to always think twice <br />Right here at Jefferson school. <br /> <br />So thanks to everyone who made an impact <br />On how we live the rest of our lives <br />We will never forget you, and thats a fact <br />As we all say our sad goodbyes.<br /><br />Kevin Seales<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/sad-goodbyes/
