I took some seeds of Peace along with me <br />Down God's Garden path to plant. <br />The Lord God designed His garden for us <br />With a prayer bench where I rested at. <br /> <br />For our Lord is the, 'Master Gardener' <br />With His planted, 'Morning Glories' for mankind's glory to be. <br />As read in the scriptures written <br />By John, in verse 1: 14. <br /> <br />I entered His gates with great thanksgiving <br />The air was scented with fragrant prayer potpourri. <br />We are to God the fragrance of Christ <br />'Search Me O God, that I might live in Thee.' <br /> <br />Create in me a rich fertile heart soil <br />Where I can plant my seeds, 'O Lord' for You! <br />Sowing faith, and reaping thy blessings <br />In my faith planted seeds of flowers red and blue. <br /> <br />Seeds of, 'Peace' I wish to plant, 'My Lord' <br />As written in, 'Colossians 3: 15' <br />'For blessed are the peacemakers <br />With Life, everlasting.' <br /> <br />We are like the flowers in your garden Lord <br />'So we, being many are one body in Christ.'(Romans 12: 5) <br />Many flowers all in one bouquet, many different personalities <br />All sadly do pay sins price. <br /> <br />I noticed one thing that was missing <br />God's Garden was cleaned out of every weed. <br />For they would only keep me from enjoying the flowers <br />And sowing the Peace, that I so desire for mankind to seed.<br /><br />Linda Winchell<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/down-god-s-garden-path/
