Cobbled roads, empty houses,
Dirty shoes, stolen flowers,
Rotten smell, burning sunlight,
Number 43,
Your house, alive,
Flowers planted, trees lived,
Curtains hung, door open,
Happiness surrounded,

Pain healing yet starting a fresh,
Love leaking, heart beating,
Flesh alive, senses awakening,
Electricity lies beneath,
Safely tucked away,
Buried. Dig it out?

Walking,
One step confidently forward,
Two steps consciously back,
All houses empty,
No sound,
No sight,
Music? Light soft music,
Your house, happy,
Alive, okay,
Smiling, walking,
Confidence blooming,

You knew,
You know,
Out that door,
You step down, catching my breath,
Your face, a face carved by angels,
Sunlight skims across your body,
Catching your hair,
Giving it a beautiful red tint,
I stand amazed,
Your beauty, has not changed,
It has improved,
Lips so soft and gently smiling,
Like a rose opening to meet the sun,
Eyes staring, twinkling,
Brown with a hint of green,
Those eyes have haunted my dreams,
Dreams I cherish,
To see you,
Hold you,
Love you.

Walking again,
Without thinking,
My arms, so willing to hold you,
Grab hold, squeeze tight,
An invitation from you,
Is all I need,
Your lips part open slightly,
Enough to have me gasping for breath,
I kiss you,
And you kiss me back just as passionately,
It is all I need,
You are all I love x

Jodie Louise Pollock

http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/all-i-love-x/
