Rise, raise my flow <br />Of poetry thought I tell you <br />My feeling like water will go <br />On to clouds and blue <br />Everything is but a dream <br />Though we are of reality made <br />River of the living stream <br />Each to your boundary will grade <br /> <br />Rise, raise my heart <br />Here is your first tricky beat <br />Where everything must start <br />In with the lonely and need <br />You are the hour to come <br />Passing your wintry stream effect <br />Where every love is from <br />And all the warmongers reject <br /> <br />Rise, rise - become strong <br />On to your flowing destiny <br />You are the heart and the song <br />That becomes for ever free <br />Never let your peace down <br />For it’s the hand on to reach <br />Take to the world its purposes gown <br />It’s the road and way to teach <br /> <br />Rise, rise my tomorrow <br />And let there be love <br />To become instead of sorrow <br />That drip only in from above <br />Hope is my heart to be there <br />In such wishes to follow <br />Take of it peacefully care <br />Never let dream become hollow<br /><br />Peter S.
