Aged <br />my heart beats slow <br />my limbs shake <br />as I stroll <br />my thoughts forget <br />words they regret <br />my vision <br />filled with missions <br />nomore understood <br />by my brains <br />I look into <br />but see different <br />and sit and smile <br />into nothing current <br />my living <br />questioned by <br />many stares <br />passing by <br />I have lost <br />me wasted by <br />I wait <br />for the cycle to finish <br />breath to end <br />looks to blind <br />desires none <br />breasts are barren <br />milkless, lifeless <br />clinging for love <br />forsaken by friends <br />merciless thoughts <br />they mix up <br />loveless mind <br />its 'filling the blanks' <br /> <br />I feel you <br />just a light touch <br />pinking the horizon <br />distant ships <br />reflecting hopes <br />somewhere <br />in the stream of births <br />some chord <br />binding you and me <br />I faintly smell <br />the air of yours <br />slowly as I read <br />the nameless bond <br />of thinning affection.......<br /><br />lalitha iyer<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/longing-for-you-14/
