She goes home... later than expected... <br />sneaking in the house, after a nice long talk. <br />Never knowing that someone could be so interesting till now... <br />Entering her room, she sits on her bed, and thinks of the nicest guy she'd ever met. <br />The guy who pushed her on the swing, and talked about himself very little.. <br />asking her what all did she think of herself... <br />' Nothing, ' she'd said. <br />He had gotten quiet after that.. <br />Then asked, <br />'nothing at all? ' <br />she said 'No.'... <br />'Well, why not? ' <br />she laughed a little and asked, <br />'you usually ask tricky questions? ' <br />He aslo laughed a bit asking, <br />'How's it a trick question? ' <br />'Well, what do you think of yourself? ' <br />He didn't think any of himself either... <br />she let his silence asnwer the question and nodded... <br />saying, ' I'm misunderstood, ' shrugged and said, <br />'that's me...' <br />'Why? ' <br />sighing she answered, ' No one wants to understand me, ' <br />He patted her on her shoulder saying, <br />' I think you're worth getting to know, ' <br />She looked up at him and smiled, feeling secure when he smiled back, <br />then empty again when he removed his hand. <br /> She lay back in her bed hoping to dream of him. <br />This being the first time in years she'd felt a smile on her face... <br />a smile so sincere anyways. <br />She wrapped her arms around herself thinking of the goodnight hug she wished he'd of given her. <br />And for the first time ever, she fell asleep with a hopeful smile.<br /><br />Ju5t m3 Kay<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/font-color-purple-just-the-begining-more/
