At night, the lights go out. <br />And all that is dark reaches out to you. <br />Engulfing you within it’s mystery and unspeakable paths. <br />You lie in yor bed. <br />Wondering whether or not that jacket in your cloest really is a jacket. <br />Or maybe when you get up and a claw, not a hand, will reach out and snatch you and drag you into the unknown. <br />The hands on the walls shadowed by trees. <br />The eyes upon the window, forever watching. <br />A lump in the bed, could it be on of them? <br />A creature of some sort, repulsive and all. <br />Beyond the rooms, what ghosties lie there? <br />Moaning and groaning, calling out to you. <br />I bring to you, a somewhat of a good night. <br />Sweet, sweet dreams.<br /><br />Yazzy Nixon<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/shadows-upon-the-wall/
