Almighty arms reached out in love <br />And blood soaked tortured ground <br />Thus fulfilling God’s will above <br />That saving grace be found <br /> <br />How humble was The Father’s Son <br />How gruesome was His pain <br />How greatly was the battle won <br />That man may live again <br /> <br />To live to reign to rule the earth <br />To live to die no more <br />To live through Jesus’ second birth <br />As no one’s lived before <br /> <br />No need to reach up to the sky <br />Or sail the ocean wide <br />But through His Son enthroned on high <br />God plants His love inside <br /> <br />Those mighty arms are held out still <br />His blood remains the same <br />According to His Father’s will <br />We need but call His name <br /> <br />We only need to spare some thought <br />To take a look within <br />Accept we each have fallen short <br />Descending deep in sin <br /> <br />We’ve erred we’ve strayed we cannot see <br />Our debts we cannot pay <br />But thanks to God upon The tree <br />For paving us the way <br /> <br />Thank God for Jesus’ living hell <br />For mercy, love and grace <br />And through the truths He had to tell <br />We’ll live to see His face<br /><br />Michael P.
