Feeling down and out, <br />backed into a corner. <br />I hold my head in my hands, <br />sick of my innervoice screaming. <br />My other side trying to break through. <br />Make it's impact felt by those around me. <br />To say the things that I am afraid of. <br />To speak the truth, not what they want to hear. <br />Sick of feeling intmidated. <br />Sick of all the b**ching, <br />the constant complaining. <br />Almost as if I am not there. <br />Almost as if they don't care. <br />Or maybe they just don't see the pain their words cause? <br />Maybe it's just me? <br />Maybe my other side must break free? <br />Please break free and rescue me.<br /><br />Phil Panebianco<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/other-side-3/
