To have to hold even to eat <br />To drink and thirst no more <br />So is Truth at The Master’s feet <br />This side of Heaven’s Door <br /> <br />Who can stop time, turn surging tides <br />Make stormy seas as lakes <br />Jesus is this and more besides <br />Where sleeping man awakes <br /> <br />Love tangible, grace physical <br />Where doubt has departed <br />He’s God! Man, perfect spiritual <br />Revealed and imparted <br /> <br />When, how, can the mortal eye see? <br />Such miraculous bliss <br />Where is it from, how can it be <br />Divinity as this <br /> <br />Many believe such statements absurd <br />Doubting who lives above <br />But not who’ve seen who’ve truly heard <br />And felt such awesome love <br /> <br />The living Christ God’s Lamb who died <br />Who rose that others live <br />That selflessness be multiplied <br />Through He! He’ll freely give <br /> <br />The Counsellor! The Holy Ghost <br />The Spirit who’ll within <br />Who Jesus sends His chosen host <br />To guide and combat sin <br /> <br />Through faith in God in Christ His Son <br />Who’ll trust not wondering why <br />So is The Dove of Heaven won <br />By those rising on high<br /><br />Michael P.
