I'm on my way towards the destination: <br />Passing fields, plains, woods and gardens. <br />There on the way beauty decked in blossoms, <br />Peace at rest in valleys, silent music thro' zephyr, <br />All these my eyes behold in joy. <br />All of a sudden twain blossoms hit my heart. <br />I stopped awhile to study the blossoms. <br />they stood apart from others, <br />I watched their petals and there's life in them. <br />I went close to them and kept my heart on them. <br />Fragrance they sent into my inward eye, <br />And I let my wings of poetry fly unto them. <br />My heart rejoices in their company, <br />I've taken the twain blossoms with me, <br />But I did not pluck them. <br />I know not why there's a sudden hit, <br />But I know Cupid hath hit us with his arrow. <br />Let me walk with the twain blossoms, <br />And they be lmy indelible Monalisas <br />Whose smile is always engimatic.<br /><br />MBJ Pancras<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/twain-blossoms/
