Faces, looking up at me <br />the faces are all I see <br />their eyes, beging to be truly seen <br />as they watch me move past <br />greedily <br /> <br />In the eyes, i truly recall the pain <br />staying with the wind, battered by the rain <br />my imagination running wild <br />as i picture it <br />but i must leave <br />they won't let me be! <br /> <br />In those faces, i FELT alone <br />what it was like to be without a home <br />but do i truly know? <br />i've never lived to see the tale <br />the worst kind <br />of magic <br /> <br />Black. <br />Flooding me, until I find myself lost <br />in those faces <br />the face of loneliness <br />of near death <br />hoping for that death <br />and wishing for it <br /> <br />i wish to, but never can i forget <br />faces.<br /><br />Isabelle Cote<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/faces-31/
