I free myself from misery <br />As I lie awake in bed, <br />I struggle to sleep, <br />But I am lost in thought.. <br /> <br />I am distracted by pain, <br />The love so strong, <br />now weak and broken, <br />the pieces lie on the floor. <br /> <br />The advocacy so useless, <br />I breathe for air as I abscond from chaos, <br />I flee to safety but the memory chases, <br />It haunts me as I feel sorrow. <br /> <br />I am lost in a bitter situation, <br />A threat of torment as it tortures me inside, <br />No happiness as I smile and mask my agony, <br />Frail memories flash back and I lose my sanity. <br /> <br />The music leaves me bruised <br />as the lyrics shatter me and run through my head, <br />like childish pranks that hurt one's self, <br />And the volume turned up so loud deafens me. <br /> <br />And as I relate myself to the song, <br />I splinter inside and holes leave me empty, <br />I blubber and sigh, I regret then I smile, <br />So spurious, then I stop the music. <br /> <br />As I look for a place to escape, <br />the walls grow higher as I climb to break free, <br />The thorns sharper and longer stinging in my heart, <br />I lie lifeless again on the ground after falling. <br /> <br />Bright is the sky but dull is my day, <br />After I see you so happy and me so sad, <br />I sit in silence as my privacy wonders for action, <br />And people surround me as tears flow. <br /> <br />The silence breaks and I wake up in reality, <br />the pain increases and the wounds so deep, <br />The scars bleed again and I slip into insanity, <br />My mask falls my smile so crooked, my eyes so teary. <br /> <br />I sink into misery with you around, <br />I want to leave my life for martyrdom leaves me blank, <br />But failure is my answer, <br />Ripped apart as I heal. <br /> <br />Clueless again as I find a solution, <br />but no wise words can help, <br />You, the cause of my distress, <br />end my grief, I beg you! <br /> <br />Hooray for poem making... <br />hahahaha... <br />Grief? ? <br />whatever right... <br />hahahaha <br />_smile_<br /><br />Nashy Lamen<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/the-grief-that-love-can-bring/
