When you grow up and put away childish things <br />You come to realize that you have to accept what you have if life <br />with the grace of an adult <br />and not look at it through the eyes of a child <br />You come to realize you have to learn to drive on the roads of today <br />not on the roads of tomorrow <br />beause you never know when it might rain <br />And when you do get stuck in the rain <br />Learn to dance <br />beacuse too much sunshine can burn if you get too much <br />You learn to plant your own garden, instead of waiting around for flowers <br />You learn to deal with the cards you have been dealt in life, and keep a poker face <br />And realize that if you just open your eyes yo what you do have not what you dont, life has worth<br /><br />Hannah Boggs<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/growing-up-47/
