I stood alone at the beautiful sea shore <br />Observing the racing boats and how they score <br />My gaze so intense with little common sense <br />I leaned on the fence without confidence <br /> <br />To my surprise there stood a man at my side <br />His handsome smile took hold of my pride <br />I stared in his face as if I was out in space <br />And blinked not a wink because of his grace <br /> <br />My thoughts went wild as I admired his smile <br />It was such a smile that could last me a while <br />He looked so unique I thought it mystique <br />That such a great man walks on my street <br /> <br />I sought his attention he smiled in response <br />I reached out to shake hands but in a glance <br />The man I had seen disappeared in the breeze <br />My system so shocked I stood there and freeze <br /> <br />For moments I pondered what is this <br />But found myself under conviction and bliss <br />His presence brought pleasure I could not resist <br />I knew this was the man whom I wanted to kiss <br /> <br />From sleep I awake and it was a dream <br />My heart aflame but I know not his name <br />Then in came a team and explained my dream <br />That man was Christ whom I should highly esteem <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />All rights reserved.<br /><br />Gladys Brown Prince<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/the-invisible-man-9/
