I have three daughters, <br />They are beautiful, wish you could see. <br />I love them, more than life itself. <br /> <br />When they were young, <br />We played games of song, <br />And laughed, the time away. <br /> <br />Tee ball, volley ball and soccer, <br />Band, dance and cheer too. <br /> <br />With my three girls, it was always, <br />one thing or another. <br /> <br />They have since grown, <br />And it tears at my heart. <br />My babies aren’t babies, <br />They are now adults. <br /> <br />One, with her own children, <br />One, a surgical tech, <br />And one, finishing her last year <br />of high school. <br /> <br />My daughters three, <br />I am proud to be, <br />Your mom, confidant and friend. <br /> <br />My daughters three, <br />I wish you only the best <br />Of this world, <br />And the next.<br /><br />Kimberly Lindsey<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/daughters-three/
