I have a tiger by the tail,
His teeth sharp and dangerous,
No one is safe from this tiger,
His pride intact,
His killing instinct automatic,
And he senses blood and fear,
From a vast distance,
A calculating fighter,
And a hard working aggressor,
For he moves with stealth,
His stripes helping him,
Blend in with the scenery,
So do beware the tiger;
For he loves the kill,
He hunts down the prey,
And hides in the shadows,
Fighting with strength and speed,
For pride is his forte,
His skill moving his muscle,
Survival instincts keeping him alive,
Near the top of the food chain,
Sometimes just running for a game,
A tiger a mysterious animal,
Not wanting to be caged.

Paula Glynn

http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/tiger-28/
