i do not wish you to <br />read me <br />as you read another <br />poem of me <br />early this morning as it <br />is raining <br />inside my heart <br /> <br />the rain never stops <br />and the storms <br />have been so strong <br />but i have never wavered <br />like a leaf <br />taken away from a <br />branch <br /> <br />the leaf is gone <br />it rots somewhere else <br />and the branch dies <br />like any other part of <br />any tree <br /> <br />but we are different <br />we die <br />but our deaths are not <br />the same <br /> <br />after this, nothing stops <br />us <br />to go back home again <br /> <br />and home is where we are <br />our true selves again <br /> <br />i do not wish you to come <br />with me <br />there is this inevitability <br />for life beyond <br />what any word can imagine <br /> <br />i do not wish you to read me <br />because life itself reads us <br />and then puts us back again <br />into some mystical senses <br /> <br />and this is what we have not <br />fully understood and this is my <br />only hope <br />why i keep on writing again and <br />again <br /> <br />now without you because you have <br />also found <br />what you are <br /> <br />i am happy now because you <br />cannot remember<br /><br />RIC S.
