We pray and wish <br />That country stands united with <br />Unfinished goal and excel <br />Poor rejoice with joy and feel <br /> <br />It is day of enjoyment <br />For children and countrymen <br />It is difficult to say <br />But we will certainly find the way <br /> <br />New nations always find it hard <br />To forget old memory and look forward <br />Yet it is good to move ahead <br />And provide the lead <br /> <br />Freedom means not yoke free <br />But in real terms in open and under tree <br />Free air and melody under the sky <br />No bondage of any kind and it is worth to try <br /> <br />People should live without fear <br />No more threats from any quarter <br />Peaceful existence and world found so near <br />That is real dream when poor will have no tears <br /> <br />Country is vast with different faiths <br />Prayers and customs are different at the time of death <br />But so long we are alive, we have one religion <br />That peace must be maintained at any cost in the regions <br /> <br />It will always be bad to draw arms <br />Think always of arm race and aim to harm <br />Violence and war has never brought peace <br />So avoid talks of acrimony please <br /> <br />What will happen if few millions are dead? <br />But message behind it will definitely be read <br />Let kill poverty and alleviate sufferings <br />Have-not countries await goodwill, gesture and offerings<br /><br />hasmukh amathalal<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/freedom-means/
