When calm prevails <br />Peaceful effort fails <br />Lot many thoughts invade silently <br />Whole chain of thoughts end abruptly <br /> <br />Day passes without problem <br />As it is full of struggle then <br />Noon makes you sweat more <br />There is lot more to explore <br /> <br />Evening has to be pleasant <br />As it has toiled you hard for the wants <br />But the nights become scary <br />It is flooded with all kinds of worry <br /> <br />Why it happened? <br />What was needed? <br />Somehow or rather it crops in mind <br />We are awakened whole night to find <br /> <br />It is idle mind <br />That is very kind <br />Poor chamber is pressed into service <br />To keep up next day’s promise <br /> <br />It is neither love affair <br />Nor for any new fair <br />It is simple matter <br />But that makes you to wonder <br /> <br />So calm and so peaceful <br />Yet they are dreadful <br />Any attempts at peace becomes unsuccessful <br />As night is really day’s wonderful companion<br /><br />hasmukh amathalal<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/wonderful-companion/
