Poetry is divine field <br />It has place to be held <br />Not only with readers <br />But with elders too <br /> <br />I feel little shame <br />When go to readers with blame <br />“That I fail to ask for requests’ <br />Where as I consider them as best <br /> <br />I find many writers <br />With begging bowls to cater <br />Their need for reading poem <br />It may be gong well with them <br /> <br />Is it not real shame? <br />You have to ask each time <br />To members and request to read <br />I feel the inner soul is dead <br /> <br />I find the formation of cartel <br />It does not go well <br />It falls short of expectations <br />It is beginning of bad relation <br /> <br />“I read your poem and you read mine” <br />Each writer is in open market to claim divine <br />As if people are ignorant of his creation <br />It is clumsy approach to build road for elevation <br /> <br />I request readers not to fall for temptation <br />In no way it serves cause for healthy competition <br />You are made victim of falling in their design <br />Such poets must resign from writing and feel fine<br /><br />hasmukh amathalal<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/i-request-readers/
