I apply foundation, <br />to cover up scars, <br />from drinking too much, <br />and falling over in bars, <br />i then use powder, <br />so my face dont shine, <br />i love your smile, <br />coz i know your mine! <br />i then choose blusher, <br />too sweep over my cheeks, <br />it gives me the confidence, <br />to stand up and speak, <br />i change my eye-shadow, <br />to suit my mood, <br />i cover up my bad skin, <br />from eating the wrong food, <br />then on goes the eye-liner, <br />black or green, <br />makes me feel prettier, <br />than i've even been, <br />then it's my mascara, <br />i apply it nice and slick, <br />being very careful, <br />so that they don't all stick, <br />lastly it's my lip gloss, <br />to give me that gorgeous pout, <br />then i get my coat, <br />coz me and my mates are going out!<br /><br />Emma Jane Rae<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/the-makeup-on-my-face/
