When we first met <br />i walked in the room <br />and there you were <br />sitting in awe <br />not know what to say, <br />you stumbled on your words <br />wanting to talk <br />but not knowing where to begin <br />I had caught your eye <br />and thats were it began <br />we had our fun <br />and left in time <br />to just meet again <br />and become so fine. <br />The day brought us back <br />to what we once had <br />but this time it was more <br />and you got your first kiss. <br />So shy you were <br />that it made me laugh <br />which made it worse <br />but then you joined, <br />the night was perfect <br />Splendidly gloomy <br />leaving everything to be unknown <br />but amidst this serene moment <br />was me and you holding to one another. <br />here we are now and again <br />still in love <br />and thats forever <br />You still have the spark in your eye <br />that makes mine fly, <br />and you stutter no more <br />as your words flow smoothly <br />and go on in time<br /><br />Patricia Wiley<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/i-walked-in-the-room/
