Everyone's asleep-it's midnight <br />And the moon's shining bright <br />When I'm in sleep - deep and slow <br />The rays of moon entered through my window <br />The light is overflowing my place <br />It also lit up my tiny face <br />That's the time I'm breaking free <br />From my dull life - to where I want to be <br />Everyday is more duller <br />But the dreams are full of colour <br /> <br />In my dreams I feel I can fly <br />I can touch the sky <br />I can reach all the stars <br />I'll even travel to Mars <br />I can spread my wings <br />And see where the fairy sings <br />The heaven has the silver glow <br />The ray of love and hope they show <br />If you had seen the scene you would be sure <br />Love is so much clean and pure <br /> <br />Thus I spent my night <br />And enjoy the beautiful sight <br />But the morning call was so soon <br />That I couldn't see the waning of the moon <br />All my dreams were torn apart <br />Another dull day I have to start.<br /><br />Sohini Pal<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/in-my-dreams-48/
