Losing hope and faith <br />But I know I can't give up <br />And every time you hold me back <br />For reasons that are still a blur in my head <br />Struggling to keep believing in you <br />But its getting harder each and everyday <br />I'm lost and confused on everything <br />Too many roadblocks thrown my way <br />And I just can't find a way around <br />But I still try to make it around the roadblocks anyhow <br />And ignore every sign you give me <br />I keep breaking every promise <br />Slowly I start turning away from you <br />Over and over again <br />Seems like there's no use to live for anymore <br />I keep pulling away <br />When I said ' I wouldn't pull away anymore' <br />What's wrong with me <br />I need help and I admit it one day then I just close my ears on you <br />I need help from only you God <br />Cause I know you are the main one who can help me <br />So why do I keep falling far from you <br />You held onto my hands but I just let god falling faster into this hole <br />Why do I keep letting go <br />When I need you the most <br />I know you're there but its hard to believe <br />Even harder to have faith <br />I guess I keep looking for all the wrong things <br />What do I have to do to get out of this hole <br />Alone so alone God help me please cause it's harder to count on anybody else <br />I need you now more than ever <br />Please hang onto me and don't let go <br />Cause I need you here beside me <br />Every step of the way cause I can't do anything without you <br />So God please hear me out tonight <br />Help me through these struggles and help me gain hope and faith <br />God help me be more like you <br /> <br />April 2,2008<br /><br />ESPN CHICK<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/god-help-me-4/
