There are places that a traveller <br />can ever remember. <br />The Luneta Park's crawling grasses <br />where I lay down to witness strange faces <br />The panoramic sunset of Manila Bay <br />with its crimson light <br />The breathtaking hills of Tagaytay - <br />The people's park in the sky <br />that lords over the active Taal <br />and where golfer's choppers pass by. <br />The Philtranco Bus with its riding lights <br />wandering along the Albay's path <br />but I missed to see the perfect cone - <br />the Mayon volcano; it was an hour of dawn <br /> <br />Over the sea, beside the plains <br />all the sights of the hills <br />I had viewed when I passed <br />through San Juanico channel <br /> <br />While on board Superferry 2 <br />from city pier, I simply threw <br />my transient warm goodbye <br />a word of joy because i was going <br />to the island of Cebu. <br /> <br />Along the sea, various winds <br />crossed our way; the still breeze <br />the stormy tide that never ebbs <br />like the Romblon waves <br /> <br />After I crossed Magellan's frontier <br />I went down to the place again - <br />the Land of Promise where I was born <br />to live life and to spend my earthly sojourn.<br /><br />Rommel Mark Dominguez Marchan<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/roadtrip-the-traveller/
