When you feel your heart aching <br />Try not to dispair <br />and lose all your hope <br />It might be that this dream you dream <br />is not meant for you <br />However hard you try to hold on <br />and hope that it lingers <br />it's trying to slip through your fingers <br />Let it go <br /> <br />Perhaps your true fate is better, far <br />Maybe as bright as a sparkling star <br />Maybe in order to know <br />you've got to let go <br />Let go of the things you hoped <br />Let go of the love that was false <br />Let go of your heart that was broken <br />Let go of the hurtful words spoken <br />and the disgrace <br />you wear on your face <br /> <br />If you consider leaving this world <br />as I know I too did so bad <br />Don't leave it just yet <br />That would be too sad <br />For you were meant for something <br />you feel it inside <br />It's still there in your heart opened wide <br />But you just have to wait <br />Though each day hurts more and more <br />Soon though life will open another door <br /> <br />Take all of your sadness <br />and try to let it slowly leave you <br />Be honest so others might believe you <br />Welcome the new day <br />Even though you don't yet know your way <br />Don't turn from it or wish it away <br />or let empty things lead you astray <br />You know better now the truth <br />and wish to shout it from the roof <br />But it will do no good <br />It will only cause hurt <br /> <br />Take your hat and walk away <br />Though your heart still bids you to stay <br />Walk out of sadness and pray <br />for a brighter day <br />and a happier way <br />and that love will find you <br />as you seek your way <br />Its better to try <br />than to bid your life goodbye <br /> <br />And if it is so <br />that love can spring out of nowhere <br />and grow <br />That's the only thing you ever wanted to know <br />Someday love will find you <br />tied up in a pretty bow <br />A greater love than you thought <br />you could ever sow <br />No more sadness, heartache or woe <br /> <br />Its not yet your time to go <br /> <br />© James T.
