So many kind souls I've met <br />They take their time and speak with me <br />I love the connections <br />They make me feel free <br />And help me to see other sides of me <br />But something you said to me <br />Was so beautiful and sincere <br />I think about it and hold it dear <br />You said 'I love being your friend' <br />And I felt inside.....in here. <br />Thank you seems insufficient <br />and not enough <br />Because I know how you've had it rough <br />And to think that you felt my care... <br />I wish I was able to be right there <br />Because I won't let anyone treat you bad <br />I fee for you and the unfairness makes me mad <br />I want to be a fountain of love for you <br />from which you may always drink <br />whenever lonely thought's you're prone to think <br />I know how it feels when all of life is on the brink <br />Know that I'm just a simple man <br />In another life, in another land <br />But you can always hold my hand <br />because the two of us will understand <br />That love is just what you give <br />To people you love <br />And it's understood, if you could make love oneday you would <br />Because all of life is fragile and can disappear and go away <br />But where happiness is found....love has led the way <br />I love being your friend too <br />Maybe love is just knowing someone cares. <br />Thanks for letting caring shine through <br />In my heart, there is always a place now for you<br /><br />JAMES T.
