Once love is found <br />If it is truly shared <br />Dance like nobody is around <br />Keep you love close to your heart <br />Don't boldy brag <br />Or shout it about the town <br />When love is retured to you <br />and it's felt truly in the other's heart <br />Don't turn it into poems <br />Don't flaunt it as art <br />Because all these adornments <br />can only take away <br />If you find love you treat it in a special way <br />All your feelings... <br />You should not flaunt <br />lest you flaunt them away <br />or invite the thing you found to go astray <br />Give your heart to your lover <br />Because all your praise of love <br />will do little to keep it strong <br />and to your dismay <br />may cause the very one you love <br />to go the other way <br />Love is for lovers to share <br />not for others <br />there can be no other way <br />Save your praise of love for a rainy day <br />We only have so much love inside <br />and only to our lover should we confide <br />because all other talk of love <br />is for fear or pride <br />It's your love...you decide <br />But once I find love <br />I want it know <br />It will not be the subject of my poem <br />because all the love I have to give <br />will be put into the life I live <br />and only with the one I love <br />will I wish to share <br />all my love and my care <br />and the only time of love will I shout <br />is when I dream of love <br />and find I am without <br />And should I write to her a sweet love poem <br />it will be hers <br />and her's alone <br />Words anyway can only say so much <br />and all of love can be felt in a single touch<br /><br />JAMES T.
