How's my friend today? <br />I thought of you <br />does my poem give my thought away? <br />It's been so nice the kindness <br />you take the time to send my way <br />Though it's been uspoken <br />I feel your spirit from far away <br />whatever you think of me <br />it's not necessary to say <br />Your kindness speaks softly <br />and gently <br />and if I may say <br />I missed you <br />I hope you'll stay <br />and keep an open heart <br />that we may grow closer someday <br />But you've touched me already <br />like the early dawn touches the day <br />Friendship is a precious gift <br />that brightens the grey <br />and makes rainbows out of a rainy day<br /><br />JAMES T.
