Twinkling stars, poking my mind with thought <br />as I look up at the sky, held gently in my mind. <br /> <br />Being able to touch the stars now, in imagination, <br />I find their textures unlike any on earth. <br /> <br />Crinkly, yet not, they confuse my senses as I try <br />to save this new star in a special slot in my brain. <br /> <br />Next time I go outside in the nighttime air and <br />look upon the sky, I will remember the texture's <br />feeling in imagination's mind.<br /><br />RoseAnn V.
