Living through a hurricane when I was just nine years old, <br />still stays with me in memory's untold. <br /> <br />When even younger, I remember the air raids we had in our <br />town of Bound Brook. <br /> <br />We had to pull down all the shades and get down on the floor <br />of the bathroom. <br /> <br />In grade school, we'd have to leave our classroom and go out <br />into the hallways, head in our arms, leaning against the <br />wall until the all clear bell rang. <br /> <br />It's strange how memories are always with me, just thinking <br />brings them to mind and they open up and expand into <br />remembering.<br /><br />RoseAnn V.
