Dignity has a roll call <br />and every now and then <br />I meet a fellow eagle <br />a royal citizen <br /> <br />She reminds me through her stories <br />I find myself again <br />God has not forgotten <br />as she shares her experience <br /> <br />All the trials and tribulations <br />sometimes we feel this cannot be <br />but once we hear her story <br />we nod and do agree <br /> <br />God has seen it <br />we really are not alone <br />God has some how counted it <br />so yes I can be strong <br /> <br />There's a roll call for Dignity <br />A pin for the woman of strength <br />a reckoning, a reward <br />for all that it has meant <br /> <br />Thank you, for the message <br />a soldier at it's best <br />'I was only doing my duty' <br />but he saw you pass the test <br /> <br />There's a roll call for dignity <br />for the lady of virtue and Strength <br />for laying down her life <br />and what it represents <br /> <br />There is a due for a lady of dignity <br />and every now and then <br />I am reminded that he sees me <br /> as she takes me there again <br />There is a roll call for Dignity<br /><br />Debbie Bennett<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/there-is-a-roll-call-for-dignity/
