Through <br />.....hot and cold, moments near and far..........I made an offering <br />....of it but you said no. What.........disappointment, despair and <br />....grief. I kept it stored away...............I hoped and hoped but had <br />....found no solace. You left.................You left and turned back to <br />....me. Uncontrollably you needed..........me. I wonder if then you <br />....wanted it? I used to show it to............you, every once in a <br />......while and say I wondered who I'd.........give it to? But then <br />.......I'd place it back, not ready to..............hand it over. And <br />........when you left the second time, ..........What sorrow I felt. <br />..........So much, that I left it with you.................in your care. It <br />...........rested next to yours. Then there........was that week. <br />............The week we did not talk. Oh what.....did you do <br />...............with my heart! ? But then you.........sent it in <br />..................the air flying high for........several days. <br />....................I found it wrapped in..........cotton <br />.......................With a soft pink bow........And <br />..........................held each piece in <br />............................each hand.
