In my mind I create, <br />Works and Wonders so Great. <br />But soon as I draw them down, <br />I end up with a frown. <br />I think that you will find, <br />It looked better in my mind. <br /> <br />When I start to write, <br />The words won't come without a fight. <br />I can't remember what I wanted to say, <br />And when I do, I can't seem to portrey, <br />The thoughts and feelings I had, <br />Of happy, angry, or sad. <br /> <br />But when I sit down to play, <br />The sounds just make me sway. <br />My hands moved of their own accord, <br />as notes and harmonies, they just poured. <br />I fall into sweet bliss, <br />Nothing is as good as this. <br /> <br />But when I get up front, <br />The piano Begins to grunt. <br />My hands don't know where to go, <br />When I'm the star of the show.<br /><br />Megan Frame<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/stage-fright-6/
