We are a group, a democracy <br />with right to speak out and right to be free <br />our system, you see is a little inapt <br />you can say, our system's corrupt <br /> <br />Like some animal kingdom in the green <br />some sly foxes and slimy snakes are seen <br />with selfish mind and a greedy motive <br />how on earth can this system live? <br /> <br />Politicians making those promises fake <br />an embarrassment to this system they make <br />and we like a bunch of cattle some <br />follow every beat of their drum <br /> <br />Running a nation of people billions <br />comes secondary to them, first money millions <br />counting money on a day to day basis <br />rather than counting problems of many faces <br /> <br />Thinking they are better than the rest <br />and making us their bullet proof vest <br />for everything that they do wrong <br />it is the people who takes the fall <br /> <br />Speak out nation, speak out loud <br />speak to the people, speak to the crowd <br />we are not political puppets putting on a show <br />we are the victims, we deserve much more <br /> <br />Bribery, embezzlement and lot extortion <br />will we ever come up with a solution <br />throw these animals away from their seats <br />before this system they mercilessly beats <br /> <br />Thrown around like in a game of tennis <br />when will we ever fight this political menace <br />our nation, our system, our society's at stake <br />in our hands this problem we must take <br /> <br />We have the power to set things right <br />dont go down without a fight <br />to see things clear from right and wrong <br />cleaning this mess wil not take long <br /> <br />And soon we'll see honest to god people <br />who will lead our nation the way it needs to be led <br />and once we do our jobs and vote right <br />peaceful night we can sleep in our bed <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Copyright © 2009 by Sneha Murali<br /><br />Sneha Murali<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/the-politically-incorrect-truth/
