Everything that I once had is gone. <br />The life I had is now just a memory. <br />My old life is fading away and theres <br />no way in getting it back. <br />I can't grab it because theres nothing left. <br /> <br />My smile has vanashed from existence. <br />I can't remember the last time that I smiled. <br />There is nothing left to smile about. <br /> <br />My laugh has not been heard in so long. <br />I haven't been able to laugh in so long. <br />The jokes that were funny to me are no longer funny. <br />There is nothing left of my laugh. <br /> <br />I desperately want to be myself again. <br />I want nothing more than to be happy and smile again. <br />I want to hear my laugh again and enjoy life. <br />The times with my family are what I need the most. <br />I want it all back but there is nothing left for me.<br /><br />Tracey Owens<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/nothing-left-17/
