Pizookie is a pizza cookie and has really little to do with pizza. It is a dessert recipe which is served hot out of the oven and topped with ice cream. Check out Ruchi Bharani's take on this delicious, mouth-watering dessert called, pizookie. <br /> <br />Ingredients: <br /> <br />For cookie dough: <br />100 gms butter <br />1/2 tbsp. baking powder <br />1 tbsp. vanilla essence <br />2 tbsp. milk <br />2/3 cup icing sugar <br />Maida -- 100 gms <br />1/3 cup chocolate chips <br /> <br />For Caramel sauce: <br />10 tsp. sugar <br />Butter <br />1/2 cup cream <br />2 tbsp. condensed Milk <br />1/2 tsp. vanilla Essence <br /> <br />Serve with Vanilla ice cream <br /> <br />Method: <br /> <br />To make the cookie dough: <br />- In a bowl, add some soft butter and whisk it for a few seconds. <br />- While whisking the butter, add some icing sugar to it simultaneously. <br />- Clean the sides of the bowl with the help of a spatula. <br />- Add the vanilla essence and the baking powder and whisk the mixture again. <br />- While whisking, simultaneously add the plain flour and milk to the mixture. <br />- Clean the bowl from the sides and add some white chocolate chips to the mixture. <br /> <br />To make the cookies: <br />- Line the baking tray with a silicon sheet. <br />- With the help of an ice cream scoop, place dollops of the cookie dough on the mat. <br />- Place the cookies in a pre - heated oven at 180 degrees for about 12-15 minutes. <br /> <br />To make the caramel sauce: <br />- In a pan, heat the sugar and do not stir it until it starts to melt. <br />- Make sure that all the sugar crystals have melted and start stirring when you see some liquid. <br />- Add the butter, cream and condensed milk to the above ingredient and give it a quick stir.
